Memorabilia of a more innocent age, Deco doorknob sets awaken
images of pre-war exuberance. Still as trend-setting as it was
in the 1930's, this doorknob pattern was originally produced
in stamped steel. Our solid brass reproduction is as distinctive
as the Empire State Building. One of the last mortise lock sets
to be widely used before tube latch srts became the industry
standard for new home construction after WWII. Backplate: 2 1/4" X 7". Knob: 2 1/8" dia. |
Deco The Deco backplate features a triple banded vertical stripe on each side. The glass doorknob shimmers its reflection in the smooth field of the backplate. The rear hub of our glass doorknob is brass-plated. The Deco Suite has been used in several well-known installations. These include the feature film, Fire Down Below, and the Abilene Train Depot restoration project in Abilene, Texas. To Use on Newer, Pre-Drilled Doors: Deco Passage Set ~ Deco Privacy Set ~ |
