A Danish music writer/researcher
named Niels Christian Junker-Poulsen
is trying to figure out who the uncredited trombonist is on Van Morrison's 1968 album, Astral Weeks. He was told by a participant in the record that one of the band members was J.J. Johnson, but I've listened to the trombonist's solo and he is someone other than Johnson. Would you, kind visitor, like to help figure this mystery out?
