The pictures below are from Sandro Botticelli's painting The Madonna of the Magnificat. Separated from the main work, it is often shown alone and titled Four Angels. When I first saw the painting, I was entranced with the thought that the figures looked just like Louis, Lestat and Armand, with Gabrielle standing over them. I could not help but to "revamp" them.

Magnificat

Lestat

Take the highway to the end of the night
End of the night
Take a journey to the bright midnight
End of the night
Realms of bliss--Realms of light
Some are born to sweet delight,
Some are born to the endless night,
End of the night, end of the night.

Some are born to the endless night........
Jim Morrison

Louis

Sing your mystic song for me my night born child,
a song with hope of how I touched the midnight sky
and caressed the stars shining so deep in your eyes.
Cloaked only in silver flame and midnight mist,
hearing only the music of dream's gentle kiss
as it flows from your heart with a passionate cry.
William Blake

Armand

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As other saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Till now. . .
Edgar Allen Poe
