The Himalayas and the Andes mountains rank around fourth and fifth in comparison.

The Mount Waddington Range is known as the "Himalaya" of the Coast Mountains and Mount Waddington, at 12,250 feet (4,019 meters) is British Columbia's highest summit. The mountain is surrounded by snow, cascading icefalls and massive glaciers.
