"There are no laws ! There are no rules !
Just grab your friend and love him !"
He was called many names:
I'm a Changeling, See me change...
Well, I'm the air you breathe, the food you eat,
the friend you greet in the swarming street.
~Jim Morrison
First, he was the kid from Venice.
For Cosmopolitan magazine he was the Young Lion.
In San Francisco, at the Fillmore during the Summer of Love, when everyone else was wearing tie-dyed jeans and garrish colors, he was the Lizard King, dressed in black: black leather, black vinyl, snakeskin; they called him the "Dark Angel".
He was, everywhere he went, a Shaman.
In New Orleans at his last concert, he was Mr Mojo Risin but his fans just called him Mojo.
In Paris, where he died, he was a poet, who called himself Fireheart.
There aren't too many people who knew Jim Morrison who have put down in writing what they saw and what they knew. One person who knew him was his friend, Danny. Please take a moment to read what this person has to say.
A short tribute to WALLACE FOWLIE
When the music's over.....
"I am interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos--especially activity that seems to have no meaning.
It seems to me to be the road toward freedom.....
Rather than starting inside, I start outside and reach the mental through the physical."
