I finally made it! Here is the first major update of my single, EP and CD collection. You will see a lot of new cover art. Quite a lot origin from rare records, mostly from Europe.
I put the new listings right in front of the original collection, so you can quickly identify what is new. For the next update, I plan to reorganize and sort the collection. Enjoy!

I want to thank especially Marshall Johnson, who contributed considerably to this collection.

On this page you will find pictures of various LP, single, EP and CD editions of Mahalia's songs. This listing used to be on the main tribute page. But since GeoCities ("my" provider) protested that the data transfer status was to high, I had to reorganize my site a little bit.

I am not unhappy because of this. This shows how many people around the world are still interested in Mahalia and her art. And it shows that more and more visitors come to this page.

This cover image shows the three EP version of the album. In those days, it was common to issue the albums both as LP and EP book.
This LP/EP set was reissued on CD as "Silent night, Holy night" with different cover. It is not easily available. Try Tower Records.
1958 USA CBS CK64274 Black, Brown and Beige Duke Ellington suite featuring MJ. Officially released in 1958, this suite was re-issued several times. There exist at least two CD editions, one of them being a SONY super bitmap gold disc version (the given record no. refers to this gold edition) CD Now.
