Under subscribe infomation, where we have Subscribe Jazz-L we may want to add "your-name/
subscribe jazz-l yourname". Anyway I think it looks great. Lonnie, feel free to pick nits anytime you want.
Good suggestion for the subscription page, and I will do this
ASAP. Sheri

release on Zebra Records. It has been three years since the
release of "Music for Lovers" and "One Night in
Houston" and this cd shows even more the innovative and
unique musical style that Rob has with his piano and music.
"Dance for the New World" is a very personal compilation of
music by Rob with a little help from Wilton Felder on Tenor
Sax on the beautiful "Obsession" and very melodic "The Time
Has Come". Eric Marienthal lends his saxophone talent on the
whimsical "Island Girls" and "When Love Gets Deeper" which
also has the very soulful singing voice of Brenda Russell.
This cd not only shows us a more serious side of Rob's music,
especially on "House of Broken Dreams" where he combines
classical and jazz for a very strong emotional piece, but
that music can also just be fun as in "Planet Mullins"
featuring Adwin Brown on vocals and Tony Guerrero on
trumpet and "Bustin Out" featuring Greg Vail on saxohone.
The title cut "Dance for the New World" shows Rob's music
moving into new directions as well as showcasing the tryly
sweet and melodic voice of Sara Ingraham. Rob has always
shown that the piano is not just 88 keys, but a true
expression of beautiful music inside and out. For more
information on Rob Mullins, check out his website at
