Everybody has a history--at least that's what my husband the history professor would tell you if I'd let him get a word in edgewise. And so too, our pig pickin's have a history that began with preparations for the very first one. Truth be known, we didn't have a clue what we were doing that first time. If it weren't for a dear friend, who would later attain that most honorable title of Pitmaster, I don't know how we would have pulled it off. But with a lot of troubleshooting, and a good measure of humor, we managed to succeed ... Well, almost.
