About Me

Hi everyone!  Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Crissi Newton and I have been a lifelong resident of Lake Providence, LA. for 26 years.  I was even born in the town's tiny hospital, March 1, 1978.  I spent my early years at Briarfield Academy and graduated with honors in 1996.  After that, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from the University of Louisiana at Monroe May 2002.  I spend my time working for Dr. Don Bailey, a general practitioner in town.  I do a lot of work on the computer and act as a receptionist.  In the near future, I would love to go back to ULM and get a Master's Degree in Counseling.

My hobbies include: designing websites, reading, driving my Dodge Dakota, and listening to all types of music.  My favorite, as you may can tell by my other website, is Bing Crosby.  I was only 16 when I was introduced to Bing while watching "White Christmas" on television. I now collect anything and everything with his name or face on it.

Well, that's about it.  I lead a fairly dull life.  There's not much to do or see around here, and being single, I pretty much hang around the house with Stanley, Suzie, and Blackie.  You can see them below!

The cutest, sweetest kid in the whole world is pictured here.  She's my niece, Erica.  Erica is 11 years old and in the 5th grade at Briarfield Academy, and she is super smart (like her Aunt Crissi, haha!).  She just won third place in a spelling bee that included all of the town's elementary schools.  I'm proud of you, girl!
