Pittsburgh '99

This is a great story about my trip out to Pittsburgh, PA with SpAcEacE where we got to meet some of our freaky friends from 'BurBs.

Day 1

Let me start out by saying that the Pennsylvania Turnpike has got to be the STUPIDEST road in all of america. You see the exits are like 40 miles apart, and the rest areas are about 2 miles before all the exits, so if you have to use the lgr/lbr you can't go for like 38 miles. What they should do is put the rest areas halfway between exits, but NO that would be the smart thing to do!!! Also just for the record, people in the New Jersey/New York area move a _little_ faster than the people in Pennsylvania, so if you wanted to check into a motel in under 30 minutes, I wouldn't suggest that you stay in a motel in PA. So when we finally got to our Super 8 Motel Room #307, with wouldn't you guess it, Super 8 air conditiners, we called sL to wish her a happy b-day! After a small nap sL came to visit us and we went out for birthday dinner. Then it was time to get ready for a big night out on the town. On our way to sL's house, we got lost, big surprise with SpAcEacE driving, but after a 45 minute drive that is suppose to take 20 minutes, we got there. We took sL and met up with butteRcup,re fijeekies, zooropa, and gunslinger at the Twilight Zone bar and dance club. After many electric lemonades (this drink is made with Absolut Citron and sour mix, in case you were wondering, you alchoholic you), I let them do a little dancing. And some of us got a little _friendly_ during the evening, alcohol will do that to some people. Finally it was time for a _long_ rest after a long day.

Day 2

We got up late (we all know how much I like to sleep). Then we met up with sL, Lecachot, butteRcup, and fijeekies for brunch at Park 'N Eat (just for the record, the name of the restaurant is Eat 'N Park, I think it a stupid name, so we changed it. Just think about it: you park your car first and then eat, therefore the restaurant should be called Park 'N Eat it just makes more sense, dontcha think?). We had the "all you can eat" brunch, and boy did we eat! Then it was onto a fun afternoon in Pittsburgh. We got to see "The Igloo", Condom Nation, Pennsylvania Plate Glass Building and we shopped at Station Square. Then it was time to eat again(as if we don't eat enough) at Pizzeria Uno's, we shared dinner and many juicy secrets, wouldn't you like to know? Then we went back to our motel where we watched Ever After where sL and I almost cried. And then we shared more juicy secrets, you know you really want to know. After all that, we were tired again and it was time to say bye to sL. **group hug**

Day 3

Check-out is at 11, so we got up at 10:30. SpAcEacE was such the gentleman carrying all the luggage down the stairs and we got back on america's stupidest road, but we stopped at the first rest area to get a drink, so we were on the road about 2 miles. We miss Pittsburgh!!!
