Pudding Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans evaporated milk
2 cans water
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tlb vanilla

Mix cake using recipe on the box. Remove 2 cups of the mixture.
Place mixture in 2 quart pot. Bake remainder of cake mix according
to package directions, using oblong pan or one round pan.
When baked, remove from oven and cut into 1 X 1 inch squares.
Using the 2 cups of mixed mix, add the milk, water, sugar and vanilla.
Cook on medium high heat stirring constantly, as not to let the bottom stick.
This should take about 20 minutes, until the pudding becomes thick.
Remove from heat....Layer pudding and cake, in that order, in 2quart
serving dish or bowl.....It should give you three layers of pudding
and two of cake....
May be served warm or chilled until later.
