From My Table to Yours A recipe from a dear old friend....He's gone to cook for the angles...
1 large boneless beef brisket, trimmed (salt and pepper to taste) 2 large bottles Italian Salad Dressing 1 large onion, sliced 1 large bell pepper, sliced 1/2 cup cherry juice 1/2 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 Tablespoon prepared mustard Marinate Brisket overnight in refrigerater using Italian Dressing, onion, and bell pepper..Turning at least 4 times....Place brisket and marinating sauce in baking pan.. Bake for 2 hours. Remove Brisket and place in shallow pan....place on warm pit....Using remaining ingredients make sauce to baste Brisket. Baste Brisket every time it is turned.Leave on pit for at least one hour.... Hickory chips may be placed on coals for added flavor. © 1997 - 2003 ccharp@charter.net
