One shortcut I'm providing is a list of HTML editors. these editors arent the "easy as pie" do it for you editors. The only way to get a truly flexible, good website is to make it yourself. These editors help you with that, not try and do it for you.
And last to worry about is FTP. FTP (file transfer protocol) is a way to get your website from your computer to the internet. First, contact your ISP to see if they have a way to upload your files, if not, then are excellent FTP programs.
