I recently graduated from Florida State University cum laude with
a bachelor’s degree in English. I
minored in Classics, which involved extensive amounts of both reading and
writing. I also took three semesters of
Latin, increasing my logical and reasoning skills.
I am a dedicated and diligent
worker. I can work to meet deadlines; I
have initiative and can work in a variety of environments. In my current position I work within a team
but also independently in the sense that there is no direct supervision of my
editorial work.

I
am currently working full-time as an editor in the Supplement Department at
Municipal Code. I often have to work to
meet deadlines set by various municipalities as well as my personal goals and
deadlines I set for myself for every month and every quarter. My job involves not only editing text, but
working with graphics, tables and charts.
I work with both electronic and hard copy formats.

I
worked in a retail environment during my school breaks for a little over a
year. I rotated between being a cashier
and working as a sales associate in three different departments. In addition, I frequently worked as a guest
service representative.

I earned over one hundred hours of community service working in the Central Supply facility and the Department of Continuing Education.
