Thanks for the E-mail regarding the Vallery history. I think that Henry Vallery, the 5th son of John B Vallery is my grandfather who past away in the mid 50's at about 83 or 85 years old. The birth date of 2 December 1876 would be just abour right. Also,
y memory from when I was very small recalls a Nash Vallery and A.J. or J. A. Vallery in my background. This is very close and perhaps we should investigate it further to be sure. Henry lived in and around Olla and Alexandria in his early years. Let's inve

I came across your page from an Avoyelles Parish homepage - this is so exciting. My mother's father's family is all from this area and we are related to all the above families. My mother was born in Louisiana, and has a ton of genealogy information.
