Hello long lost friends! So glad to have found you. We seemed to have lost touch when we were at Redstone in 93-95. Went back to Ger. in 95-98. April 98 returned to Redstone for 14 monthes and in May 99 Tim was selected for the position of Regimental Comm nd Sergent Major of the Ordnance Corps!!! We are currently at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD where we live in beautiful quarters on Cheasepeake Bay. Josh is a jr at the University of Al (Huntsville campus)He graduated from Ramstein HS. Over the past 20+ years I have researched my family of Ponthiers, Bordelons, Ducotes and Gauthiers. However, I came to a screeching halt on the Bordelon side with Leo Bordelon, my maternal great-grandfather. He was married to Conelia Daush Lemoine. He nd his daughter (age 16), Emily left in the 20's in a horse and buggy t bathe in the hot springs of Hots Springs, Arkansas. They never returned and Conelia waited the rest of life for them. I have always wondered what happened to them. I cannot seem to find information on Leo's lineage either. I have dates and other infor ation if anyone wants to e-mail me.

I really enjoyed the site - and got some good information from it. My name is Joel Deason and I am doing some genealogy research on my father's side of the family. My grandmother was a Bordelon from Bordelonville, LA. She had two sisters: Mercedes Bordelon Youngblood and Flossy Bordelon Basco, my grandmother's name wa Rhea Cecile Bordelon Deason, Their parents were Avit and Olive Bordelon - Olive had two sisters: Pealou and Peali Armand from Bunkie. I enjoyed your site very much, it makes me even prouder to be a Louisianian. I am a Children's Author and my theme continues to be my Louisiana Pride. My new book (Soon to be released) is entitled "Acadie, I Remember 1755" about the deportation of the Aca ians as seen through the eyes of a 7 year old girl. It is a picture-book that basically explains to kids "How Cajuns Came to be" and how they ended up in Acadiana.
