Seeking Membership

  1. You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for membership. Some material in the guestbook is not suitable for children.
  2. You must pick a character.
    1. This character can be a vampire, a witch, a ghost, a taltos, a spirit, or mortal.
    2. You must have read the novels pertaining to the character. For example, if you want to be a vampire, you had to have read at least the first three books in The Vampire Chronicles.
    3. If you choose to roleplay a character from the book, please stay in character. We wouldn’t want a Lestat who dreads drinking blood. It’s not like him at all.
    4. You can choose to create a new character, but it is prefered that you didn’t.
    5. You cannot pick a character that is already being roleplayed by another member.
  3. Once you have picked a character, email one of the Officers from our Dramatis Personae page your request. In this email you need to include:
    1. A paragraph telling us a little about yourself, and why you chose this specific character.
    2. A sample paragraph writing as your chosen character.
  4. Be patient. We will review your application and notify you as soon as possible.

As a Member
  1. As a full member, it will be your responsibility to contact those members you wish to include in your storyline.
  2. You must post at least four times a week. In order for a story to work, we need the full participation of every member.
  3. If you are unable to post, be sure to tell someone. Lack of posts gives off the impression that you are not interested. Your membership will be terminated.
  4. Although it isn't required, it's a great introduction if you create a webpage for your character. There are many places on the web that give away free web space, and they have programs that help you make one. If you are having trouble creating one, ask any current member for help.
