As Posted by Patsy Chappelear Hi, Rooters: Per my promise I have copied the information on Biblical Genealogies from Dr. James H. Stallings book, "Supplement to Stallings Family Records." Due to the length of the material, I am breaking it into 6 (SIX) portions. Please note that I started to try to transcribe exactly the spellings of JHS. But as the copy was not made from an original, and is a minimal quality copy, and he had a difficult time trying to do this before word processors, I found a number of errors. I have checked it against my "Layman's Parallel Bible" (1973), which gives the King James (KJ), Modern Language (ML) (OT 1959, NT 1945), Living Bible (LB) (1971), and Revised Standard (RVS) (1971) versions. I used these to try to correct obvious errors in typing and format, and also for spellings, and have inserted with {} some variant spellings. I have retained JHS format, with the exception of the deletion of the word "Issue", just depending on the indentation to indicate the generations. I hope someone else will now check what is presented here, and let everyone know any corrections. I did considerable moving in the section of the lines from Issac and Esau, in order to show the genealogy in a more complete fashion. I also did considerable deletions, for JHS tended to repeat the same information on different pages, as he did in the genealogical information on the Stallings family. In addition, I have added some Biblical references to show the source of my editing. In no way do I say that this is all of the genealogical information contained in the Holy Scriptures. I am sure that none of the Aprochypha or Dead Sea Scrool material is included. Altho' I have not checked all of the material below, it appears that at least the following are not included: I Chr. 23-26, Neh. 11, 12, Numbers, Judges, Ruth, Samuel.. Further, I do not state my personal religious beliefs by the presentation of this material. I am a very active member of the United Methodist Church, and have participated in a generous amount of Bible study. I will not enter any religious discussion on the net. Here goes with part 1: Biblical Genealogical Information extracted from Dr. James H.
