First Generation
 
1. Stephen ELLIOTT was born in 1788 in North Carolina. He died 30 Aug 1872 in Coffee Co., TN. Stephen married Elizabeth, who's last name was unknown on 13 Feb 1811 in Warren Co., TN. Elizabeth was born in 1785 in Virginia. She died 28 Dec 1875 in Coffee Co., TN.
Stephen Elliott and Elizabeth show on the 1850 Tennessee Census in Coffee Co. Stephen is listed as 62 yrs of age born in North Carolina and Elizabeth is listed as 65 yrs of age born in Virginia.
From a Supreme Court case, their house is shown to set along side the road between Manchester and Woodbury, Cannon Co TN not more than 5 miles from the courthouse. They were suppose to have been buried on their homeplace. This would now be on the outskirts of Manchester.
Their children all migrated to Arkansas before 1850.

      + 4 M iii. James Monroe ELLIOTT was born 22 Jun 1816 and died 16 Jul 1897, Palo Pinto Co.,TX
        5 F iv. Elizabeth ELLIOTT was born 11 Jun 1820. She died 1890. Died of Winter Fever.
        6 F v. Isabelle ELLIOTT "Ibby" was born 27 Mar 1824. She died 8 Feb 1881.
        7 M vi. Stephen ELLIOTT Jr. was born 1826. He died 1864.

Almeda married Abner Newton TODD, son of Walker Everett TODD and Elvira Francis HAYNES on 30 Oct 1881. Abner was born 4 Mar 1859 in Stone Co., AR. He died 13 Oct 1904 in Garland, TX.
Abner Newton Todd is buried at the old Pleasant Valley Cemetery in what is now Northwest Rowlett. The Cemetery is located 1/2 mile north of the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Merrit Drive.
