RICHARD TREVETHAN, was granted United States Citizenship at Silver Bow County,
Montana on September 29, 1884, having proved residence in the United States for at least
five years, and renounced loyalty to: Victoria, Queen of Great Britain &
Ireland & Empress of India. The obituary of Richard Trevethen in the Nov. 3, 1932 Montana Stadard at Butte, Montana, states he wa s aa miner, and died Nov. 2, and that he was a native of England. He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Trevethen, a son, Percy, and three brothers and one sister in Michigan. (Ruth Trevathan Delvige)
WILLIAM TREVATHAN, came as a surveyor of commodities in the
Virginia area. He arrived on the Recovery ship
ca 1679. This line has been researched from
