First off, my real name is Jessica Richard. I am nineteen years old, and I live in a little town named Raceland. Does anyone actually know where Raceland is?
Raceland is approximately 45 miles southwest of New Orleans. Raceland is okay. We're not even a town. We don't have a town hall or a mayor or anything like that. Raceland is more or less a village.
I am currently a Freshman at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. I am finally in college!!!! I am majoring in Music Education. It's a long drive for me, though. It's a change from driving to high school at Central Lafourche High School where I lived only a half a mile away.
In the little spare time I have, I like to talk, be with my friends, travel, read, listen to music, sing, dance, and act.
My family consists of a dad, a mom, a brother, and a dog. My dad is a cross-country truck driver, my mom is a cashier at a store, my brother is
a computer technician, and my dog is a hyper-active Yorkshire Terrier that is so mean, that if you scratch his stomach,
he's your best friend for life! Another thing about my dog, he doesn't like men!!
School, for me, is going quite nicely. I L O V E college. It is so great. So far I am in only a couple orgainzations: the Pride of NSU Marching Band, The Nicholls Wind Ensemble/Symphonic band, and the Nicholls Singers, and I am really enjoying everything about them. I have met so many wonderful people and have made lots of friends. It's great.
