At work Sam is calm and collected, but when she spends time with her friends she comes alive, leaving the cool surface behind. Sam enjoys spending time surrounded with people, but is on occasion drawn to solitary nights spent thinking things through in front of her fireplace.

Sam has dark, wavy hair that reaches her lower back. She keeps it tied back in a ponytail when she's at work. Her olive complexion and dark eyes tell of her Italian heritage from her mother's side. She's 5'7" tall and likes to wear neutral colours: brown, black, beige, olive and grey.

~History~
Samantha works as a detective. She made the change from officer at age 32. She has no family - her parents are dead, she was an only child and isn't married - but she considers a lot of her friends from the precinct as an extended one.
