Front view of the Lakewood Bar & Grill.

Hash, Terry, and Bobby warming things up with a good first set.

Bobby Baronowski, the drummer; The Man! He can really play.

Terry Montgomery, Hash's bass player playing with Phillip Law, the drummer in Cold Blue Steel. Phillip is another fine player who regularily plays in Jams around Dallas.

The great Sam Myers bringing Hash's favorite medicine (a Lemondrop cocktail) to help heal what ails him...

The one and only Armond "King" Hussein, the former 20 year World Champion of Professional Wrestling! A great blues fan and a good man.

Curly Jr. singing with both Hash and Mike Huggins backing on guitar.

Jim Wells playing his song called the "Lakewood Bar & Grill Blues".

Jim Wells during a guitar solo with Phillip Law on Drums. You can see his face in this picture!

Sam Meyers fronting the Hash Brown Band!

Sunday nights in Dallas almost always find a big crowd at Hash Brown's Lakewood Bar & Grill jam. November 8, 1998 was no exception. Players such as Sam Meyers, Josh Davis, Neil Hampton, Bill Edens, me, Holland K. Smith, Bob Morse, Dana Scotch, Johnny "Dr. Johnny" Blade, Keri Lepai, Phillip Law, Mike Huggins, Curly "Barefoot" Miller (at 94 years of age and still singing!), Susan Tedschi, and many others have played in this jam in the past month or two alone.

On other nights, Andrew Baxter, Jr. (11 years old) and Ryan Snipes (16 years old) have shown up and played guitar at levels far beyond what anyone would every expect people of their age group to do. On the night shown above and many others, the former World Champion Wrestler and blues fan extraordinare' Armond "King" Hussein was present, dancing with several of the fine women in the crowd.
