The Musicians

• Allen Youngblood: (Piano, Keyboards,Vocals)
     Has performed internationally with such artists as Ernestine Anderson, Bud Shank, Art Farmer, Bert Wilson, Charlie Rouse, Jimmy Witherspoon and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. He has two other recordings of his compositions. He has won two fellowships for compostion from the Seattle Arts Commission and the North Carolina Council of the Arts. He has recorded also for his own record company "Griot Records".
  
  
• Vastine "Wink" Pettis: (Alto Sax, Vocals)
     A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Vastine has perfored and recorded with Roy Ayers Ubiquity, Phyliss Hyman, and Bobbie Humphrey. His compositions have been recorded by Will Downing and Audrey Wheeler.
  
  
• Eugene Pao: (Guitars)
     A native of Hong Kong, Eugene has performed regionally and internationally with some of the top musicians in the world, as well as leading groups of his own. He has a number of CDs. Eugene appears courtesy of Toshiba E.M.I., Something Else Records.
  
  
• Paul Candelaria: (Bass)
     A native of the Philippines, Paul is one of the most sought after bassists in Asia. He has performed all over Asia with the top musicians on recordings, festivals and clubs. He is the house bassist at the Jazz Club and member of the group "Nogabe".
  
  
• Anthony Fernandes: (Drums,Percussion,Vocals)
     A native of India, Anthony has performed internationally with James Moody, Richie Cole and Bob Berg. Hi is the house drummer at the Jazz Club in Hong Kong as well as a member of the group "Nogabe".
  
  
• John B. Abraham: (Percussion)
     A native of Hong Kong, Johnny performs locally with regional and international artists such as Elvin Bishop and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. He appears on numerous recordings and is a memeber of the group "Nogabe".
  
  
• Ric Halstead: (Tenor Sax)
     A native of England, Ric is the director of the Jazz Club in Hong Kong. he has numerous recordings on his own label, Kindred Spirits. he leads his own group and is a member of the group "Nogabe".
  
  
• Robison Randriahrimalala: (Kalimba,Vocals)
     A native of Madagascar, Robison is a composer/musician and founder of the Afro-Reggae group, "Nogabe". They have two popular CDs available. The music is sung in the language of Malagasy.
  
  
• Frank Rusco: (Trombone)
     A native of the U.S., Paul performs internationally in shows, theater and orchestrial setting.
  
  
• Randall Lipford: (Rap)
     A native of the U.S., Randall has performed internationally in R&B and Funk bands. He is a composer/arranger as well as a highly respected performer.
