Unlike so many people on the web these days, I am a real 'grown-up' who still enjoys RPG's as a means of recreation and a little escape from the trials of the 'Real World'. I know it's just a game. It's a game I like to play. I also play Mage: the Ascension, Werewolf: the Appocolypse, and even the old tried and true AD&D from time to time. It is no different than watching a movie or surfing the net, with the possible exception that it is more socially interactive. For those of you who don't like role playing games, don't play them. For those of you who think you you have outgrown them and are now too sophisticated, I hope the Grinch doesn't steal your Christmas! For those of you who still like to play now and then, fell free to email me with tales of your adventures.
