MUFFELATTA
A killer sandwich I learned to love in New Orleans!

Round loaf of bread
Genoa salami
Provolone or Swiss Cheese
Havarti Slices
Mortadella (similar to bologna)
Olive Salad

OLIVE SALAD
Prepare a day ahead:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup stuffed salad olives, chopped
1 cup black olives, chopped
1/2 cup roasted sweet red pepper or pimento
1 cup olive oil (a good brand)
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

Mix well in bowl. Refrigerate overnight

TO MAKE THE SANDWICH:
Slice a round loaf of bread lengthwise.
Scoop out the center.
Drizzle some oil from the olive salad
on the bread halves.

Place on one half, the salami, provolone,
havarti, mortadella, and olive salad.
Top with the other half of the bread.
Slice crosswise to serve. 1
