1/4 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 Tbs. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
2 Tbs nonfat dry milk powder
1 1/2 tsp. yeast
1/2 cup pecan halves
ONE AND ONE-HALF POUND LOAF:
1 cup water
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 Tbs. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup whole-wheat flour
2 1/2 cups bread flour
3 Tbs. nonfat dry milk powder
2 1/2 tsp. yeast
2/3 cup pecan halves
Mix and bake according to manufacturer's
instructions, adding the pecan halves during
the raisin-bread cycle, or 5 minutes before
the final kneading is finished.
