1/2 cup butter
2 cups celery, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon rosemary
2 red tart apples, chopped (not peeled)
1 1/4 cup dried cranberries
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
4 cups unseasoned dry bread crumbs
1 cup chicken broth
Preheat oven to 325°F.
In a skillet, melt the butter. Add celery and onion.
Sauté 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the
next 5 ingredients and the orange peel.
Place bread cubes in large bowl. Stir in fruit
mixture. Add broth and toss to combine. Place
in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Cover and cook
35-40 minutes.
