1/4 cup brown sugar
Combine sugar, salt and cider in a saucepan.
1/16 teaspoon salt
2 quarts apple cider
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
3-inch stick cinnamon
Tie the spices in a piece of cheesecloth and
add to the cider. Bring slowly to a boil. Cover,
reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the
spices. Serve with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
