2 pounds yams (about 4 or 5), cut in 1/2-inch slices.
1 medium apple, sliced
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash salt
2 tablespoons apple juice
Preheat oven to 350°F
Cook yams til tender but not soft. Drain.
In 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish, combine
yams and apple. Sprinkle with brown sugar,
cinnamon and salt. Drizzle with apple juice.
Bake, covered 35-40 minutes. Stir occasionally
to distribute the glaze.
