"Miss you may go in now." I walked through the double doors in to the nicest office I had ever see. The desk was made out of glass, there was 3 big black leather chairs place around it, and nice big windows. Stupid me should have asked Kev or Howie about this place to see if they knew anything about it, but a last I didn't. Know one was in the room so I went to look out the window. Lost in deep thoughts I didn't hear the door open or even heard anyone come in until I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I turned around to see a very pretty woman standing in front of me. "Hi my name is Denise McLean, we spoke on the phone. This is my son Alexander if you get the job you will be working for him. Please have a seat." Through out the interview AJ didn't talk he never even said anything to his mom about me being his ex. The Interview went well I was just hoping I wouldn't get the job. "Well Alex what do you think? Is she a keeper?" Sitting up in his chair he nodded his head. "Well let me go get some papers for you to sign. I'll be right back why don't you two get to know each other." Getting up Denise left me and AJ alone. Not knowing what to say I just got up and went to look out the window. I couldn't take the job. It paid good and I did need the money but I couldn't work for him. I started to space out again, blocking out all that was around me.

Walking up behind me AJ put his arms around me, pinning my arms to my side so I couldn't fight him even if I tried. I knew it would be useless so I didn't even try. Resting his chin on top of my head I let out a sigh. "Why did you act like you didn't know me today?" "What did you except me to do.... I hadn't been home in 4 years and the first thing I get is yelled at!" I pulled away and moved back to the chair at the desk. "Damn it! I'm trying to be nice here considering the way you left me! What the hell happened??" "What the hell happened!! AJ YOU WERE LYING TO ME!! Not just every now and the but all the god damn fucking time! You kept telling me we would go do this and that over the weekend and it never happened!!! All you ever gave me were lies and empty promises." I was on the verge of tears all I wanted to do was go home and hide. Denise came in just as AJ was walking over to me. The look in his eyes were so intense that it scared me. "Here you go Amber I need you to read this and then sign it. Do you have any questions?" "Umm ya can I take this home and bring it in tomorrow? My roommate is at home waiting for me to go out and celebrate." I got my stuff together and shook Denise's hand. When I got to AJ all he did was look me in the eyes and tell me goodnight. My drive home left me with time to think about what just went on.

I got back home to see that Kat was out with Howie. She left a note saying they were having dinner and going dancing. Not knowing what else to do I called up Joe and Ambear. "Hello?" "Umm hey Joe its Amber. I didn't interrupt anything did I?" Joe knew right off the bat something wasn't right. "Whats wrong?" "I met this really nice guy who lives across the hall from me and Kat but the problem is hes a BackStreet Boy. Then I went to this job interview for a secretarial position and got the job but I'll be working under AJ." I sobbed into the phone as I told Joe how I hated my life and nothing was going right. When it did something bad would pop up. "Sweetie I told you going back there wouldn't do any good. You know I still have that job opening up here in Boston. Think about it Christmas with snow and no AJ to make your life a living hell." Just as I was about to answer Joe there was a knock on my door. "Joe can you hold on a minuet. there is someone at the door." I walked over to the door. I looked out the peep hole but it was blocked. opening up the door I found Kev on the other side. He looked tired and stressed. "Amber can I come in? I think we need to talk." "Sure let me just get off the phone. Hey Joe I need to call you back....No its not AJ and I will let you know about the job later. Love you too...bye." I turned around to fined Kevin right in front of me. "Whats up with you and AJ? I need to know if there is still something between you two. I like you a lot....and I would like there to be more then just friendship when it comes to you and me. But I wont let that happen if there is still feelings that you have for AJ...or if he still has them for you."
