"Hey sweets!" Brian called. "Janie…JANIS?!?!?"
"Hmmm." Janis replied
"Hi, welcome back!!!" Brian joked. "Where were you this time??? Mars???"
"Shut up!" Janis said laughing "I was just thinking"
"Oh…well, do you want to go to the store with me? Those lazy asses don't want
to."
"Sure!" Janis said smiling
"K…I'm gonna go get my wallet."

Brian ran upstairs while Janis stood up and stretched. Her arms went down as AJ
came from behind her and kissed her neck.

"You going with him?" He asked wrapping his arms tightly around her waist.

She said yes, and turned to face him, Their eyes locked as she put her arms
around his neck.

"What's wrong?" He asked
"Nothing…I just…nothing"

Janis then kissed him, and laid her head on his shoulder. She loved the feeling
of him holding her. His body was warm and his grip was tight. It made her feel
safe.

"Ok, we can go now!!!" Brian said coming down the stairs.

Janis and AJ looked at each other one last time.

"Be right back." Janis said softly.
"Don't take to long."
"We won't"
"You guys be careful too."
"We will."

AJ watched them walk out the door, then turned to go outside. He let out a
heavy sigh and sat next to Kevin.

"I am going out with the most beautiful girl in the world… I love her," AJ said
Kevin began to wonder…. "Has she ever told you she loved you yet?" He asked
"No…why?"
"Oh, nuttin'…just wondering…"

(IN THE CAR)
"You know, you and AJ look really cute together…" Brian said.
Janis looked at him funny… "Where did that come from?"
"I was just thinkin'… I came down the stairs and saw you two, and you looked so
cute!!"
Janis giggled a little and smiled. "I'm lucky to have him." She said
Brian paused for a second. "Have you told him you loved him?" He asked
"No." she sighed
"Do you love him?" Brian asked again
"Yah, I do." She replied

They remained quiet for a minute. "I'll tell him…I will." Janis finished

Brian put the car in park, and they both got out.

"What did you come here for anyway?" Janis asked
"Ice cream for AJ, chips for Kevin, and soda cause I ran out…" Brian said
smiling.

As they walked into the store, another girl was walking out.

"Hi Brian!"
"Hey."
"Where's Nick?"
"At home."
"Oh…ok bye!"
"Bye."
"Who was that?" Janis asked
"I have no idea." He answered
"I'm surprised she didn't mob you!"
"Well, that's why we come out at night. Not very many people around." He said
"Smart!" Janis said

After they got all of their stuff, they went to his car and headed home.

Brian and Janis walked in the door just as Kevin was tackling Nick to the
ground. AJ heard the door open and he looked up.

"You're back…you're back…you're back…. you're back!!!" AJ shouted running to
Janis He put his arms around her and looked at her with a big smile. "Hi…you're
back!" He said
"You noticed!" Janis joked.
"Yup…You took forever!!" He said looking at Brian
"Dude… we were 20 minutes!!" Brian said
"Well…it… was 20 minutes too long!"

Janis just laughed to herself as she watched her adorable boyfriend walk to the
kitchen. They all gathered at the counter, about to dig in on ice cream and
chips. Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" Brian said rushing to the door "Oh…hi!" Brian said immediately
realizing who it was
"Hey, that's the girl we ran into at the store!" Janis whispered. Everyone sat
there and watched
"Hi!" The girl said… "Remember me?"
"Yah." Brian said slowly
The girl smiled. "You remember me from the store…but you don't really remember
me do you?"
Brian stood there staring at her for a minute. His eyes began to get wider when
his mouth dropped. "No way!! Oh my God, it's you!!!" Brian gave her a huge hug,
and led her into the house. "I'm sorry, I thought you were some freaky fan
stalking me." He said
"Well, I don't know about the freaky, stalking thing, but I am a fan!" she
laughed
"Well, come… let me introduce you." Brian ushered her to the kitchen where
everyone else was. "Guys, this is Celbie, Celbie this is Kevin, Howie, AJ, his
girlfriend Janis, and Nick."

Nick reached out to shake her hand, but gave her the bag of chips he was about
to open by mistake. He quickly took it out of her hand, and shook with the
other.
Celbie giggled. "That's a classic…it's nice to meet you." She said

As soon as Celbie turned, Nick curled his upper body and leaned against the
counter in shame. AJ laughed at the sight.

"Whooo…..I feel like a kid who just got a hold of a cup of coffee…. I'm so
nervous." Celbie joked
"Why are you nervous?" AJ asked, laughing again at Celbie's comparison
"Well, first of all, I wasn't sure if Brian was gonna recognize me, or slam the
door in my face, and second, I'm meeting the Backstreet Boys, who wouldn't be
nervous?" She said smiling
Nudging Kevin in the arm, Brian looked at him with a wide smile. "Heee…. She's a
big fan."
"So how do you know each other?" Howie asked
"We used to be neighbors." Brian said
"He'd come to my house, play Nintendo, eat my food." Celbie added
"We used to see each other everyday. We were kind of like you and Janis Kev,
just more on the brother/sister side." Brian said
"Yeah, we used to have little arguments here and there too." Celbie laughed
"She'd win a game, I'd get all mad, she'd stick her tongue out at me, I'd say
shut up!" Brian said as they all laughed
"So what happened? Did you move or something?" AJ asked
"Yah, actually. I had to move to Colorado about 3 years ago." Celbie said
"Did you keep in touch?" Janis asked
Celbie and Brian looked at each other for a second, "No… we never did." Celbie
glanced at the microwave clock and noticed the time. "Is that the right time?"
She asked in shock
"Yeah." Brian said
"Ohh. I'd better go. The gates at my place are going to lock soon, and I don't
have a key so…It was really nice to meet you all."
"Well, why don't you come by tomorrow, spend the day." Kevin suggested.
"Ok…I'd love to do that. I'll see you guys tomorrow!"

They all said their good-byes, then Brian walked her to her car.

"Are you here by yourself?" Brian asked while shutting the door.
"No, I moved here with my foster sister." Celbie answered. "Well, I've learned
one thing tonight."
"What's that?" Brian asked
"Nick is a really fine guy!" She laughed
Brian smiled "If I were you, I'd feel lucky. He doesn't make an ass out of
himself in front of every girl he meets." Brian joked
"Now I feel loved!" Celbie laughed again.
Celbie looked down and sighed, then looked back up. "Well, I gotta go. It feels
really good to see you again." She said hugging Brian
"Yah, you too!" He said.

They finally let go, and said good bye. "I'll see you tomorrow." Brian called.
