Chapter 1

~ He left a letter for you by the door
Just saying goodbye,

He made you feel like you weren't worth anything

      She opened the door and made her way into the unusually quite house. Its had been a long day and it was going to be a even longer night.  He had yet to make it home from work. It seemed like his was always working late these days. It was always one thing after another, and then the business trips that kept him away most weekends. It was all starting to take its toll on them. Going up stairs she took off her cloths and changed into shorts and one of his t-shirts.  Not bothering with the lights she made her way into the kitchen to fix some dinner for her self. Knowing all to well what the night would hold. She would eat her dinner, Maybe watch some TV while checking her emails, then going to bed, and at some point in the middle of the night waking up and seeing him next to her.  That's how they had spent the past month or two.  She was brought out of her thoughts when a message popped up on her screen. Smiling to her self she replied back. It was a guy she had been talking to for a while online. She didn’t know anything about him...well anything real about him. When they first started talking he had just randomly IMing  people but she was different. He liked to talk with her when the day was winding down. They would talk about what went on that day, new movies that they wanted to see, clubs, and music. They both were realizing that they had lots in common.

     One night he decided to tell her the truth about himself. He didn’t know why he was doing it but it just felt right. He hated lying to her. One thing for sure was she didn’t take it the way he thought she would. She thought he was lying to her. She told him if he was who he said he was then why would he sit there and listen to her boring ordinary life? She just didn’t think he would. As much as he tried to get her to believe it just didn’t work. At lest she didn’t push him away when he told. She still talked with him almost every night when they were online and they never brought up who he really was again. Before he new time had flown by again and he needed to get to bed.

Magic8Ball: Hey sweetie I need to get to bed. Its almost sun up.

Ambs78: No its not!...oh wow your right. What do you need to do get back in you coffin??

Magic8Ball: How did you guess!!! But really I do need to get some sleep. Its 5 and I need to be up in 2 hours.

Ambs78: Oh yes the busy life of a N’stinker! :P

Magic8Ball: Hey! That's the other ones...I’m a Backdoor Boy damnit!! *laughs* Ok all joking aside YOU missy need to get to that bed and be with your man!

Ambs78: *sigh* I would if he was home. Its not like him to work this late.

Magic8Ball: well maybe if you weren’t talking to me all night then you would have heard from him. *thinks* Aawwwww I feel loved you blew off your man for me! ;)

Ambs78: No I didn’t blow him off we have 2 lines. This one is just for the computer. BRB I’m going to go get the phone and call his office.

Magic8Ball: Ok.........

Magic8Ball: *twiddles thumbs............

Magic8Ball: *sings* All though loneliness has always been a friend of mine I’m leaving my sanity in your hands........ Girl where are you!!!!!!!!!

Magic8Ball: *starts to do a strip tease* Oh wait...cant do that. You wont see it. *sits back down* *sings again* everybody....look at my body....everybody....look at my body, I got abs ALRIGHT!

She got up and mad her way to the table by the door where the phone was being charged. Reaching out she picked up  the phone and that's when she saw it. A simple off white envelope with her name on it. Taking a deep breath she walked back to the computer. Slowly she opened it up. Pulling out the thin sheet of paper he eyes took in what her heart already new.
