"There they are! About damned time we found them." AJ said, slightly
drunkenly. The other guys agreed, and Joey started for their table just as
they all got up and headed onto the dance floor. He stopped in his tracks,
his face clearly showing his distress. "I know she saw me! Why didn't she
come over?" he asked. Howie sighed. "Chill out, Superman, she's teasing
you! Look at the way she's moving, and the way she keeps peeking over here
to make sure you're watching. She wants you to come get her." he said
patiently. Joey's doubt showed. "Are you sure? Shannon doesn't usually
act like that." he said, his words slightly slurred. Just then Shannon
turned and blew a kiss to Joey, wiggling her hips in an invitation even he
couldn't miss. "Oh yeah, she wants you! Go get her, Superman!" Kevin
laughed. Joey beamed in delight and almost ran to the dance floor, but he
was stopped by a beautiful blond before he could get to Shannon. She began
grinding on him, and he couldn't peel her off. Shannon watched for a moment,
her cheeks flushing with anger, and the rest of the guys groaned. "Oh, this
cannot be a good thing." Brian said as the rest of them started for the dance
floor.

Carrie and the rest of the girls had seen the whole thing, and knew that
Shannon was getting ready to cause a major scene if something didn't happen
to stop her. "Don't do it, Shan. Look at him, he's not doing anything but
trying to get to you." Carrie said as the song changed to "Una Noche" by 98*.
Shannon scowled at the blond, who had now wrapped herself around him and was
sliding one leg up and down his. "I'll kill that bitch if she doesn't get
her slutty body off his!" she growled, her fists clenching at her sides.
Then suddenly she relaxed and grinned evilly. Now the girls were really
worried. "Oh god, that's even worse. Shannie, what are you gonna do?" Amber
asked. Shannon smiled innocently, but the look in her eyes was deadly.
"Nothing much. Just a little challenge." she said sweetly. She was gone
before they could stop her, and a moment later had reached Joey's side.

He looked down at her in panic, but she just smiled sweetly up at him and
said, "Hi, sweetheart, who's your friend?" The girl looked Shannon up and
down, and said, "Beat it, bitch, I saw him first!" Shannon's eyes flashed,
and Joey groaned inwardly, knowing that something big was about to happen.
Instead of blowing up, ripping the girl's hair out, or anything else he'd
expected, she nodded. "Sure, finish your dance. I just wanted to make sure
that he got the kids to the babysitter's house on time." she said, then she
walked away, leaving the girl with her jaw hanging open. She looked at
Shannon's retreating back, then at Joey, and said in horror, "KIDS?" Then
she fled. Joey burst out laughing as the guys got there, looking stunned.
"My god, Shannon walked away from a fight over you? I never would have
believed it!" Nick said incredulously. Joey couldn't stop laughing, but he
managed to choke out, "She won the fight without lifting a finger!" Once he
could talk again, he told them what she'd done, and they roared with
laughter.

Shannon rejoined the girls just as they were getting ready to come down and
stop her. "It's okay ladies, it's over. Let's party!" she said with a
relaxed grin. Leighanne grabbed her arm as she started to dance away. "No
way! Not til you tell us what you said! That girl took off like she'd seen
the deepest pits of hell, what did you say?" she demanded. Shannon laughed
and repeated what she'd said. The girls broke up, almost rolling on the
floor they were laughing so hard. Then DMX's "Party Up" came on, and they
got down to serious dancing as the guys finally joined them. "Shannie, baby
girl, you know I didn't want anything to do with her. I only want to be with
you." Joey said as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. She ground
her ass into his crotch, making him groan as he got hard. "I know, and I
know that you were trying to get away from her. I hope you're not mad at me
for saying that." she said softly, leaning her head back on his shoulder as
they moved together. He kissed the side of her neck. "I only wish it was
true." he whispered in her ear. She tipped her head back and kissed him.
"That can be arranged." she whispered back. His eyes glittered.

AJ and Carrie were kissing passionately as they danced. "I missed you so
much." AJ whispered, licking her earlobe, and nipping it gently. "I missed
you more." she moaned softly, squeezing his ass. They continued to dance
like that for the rest of the song, and all through the next one, Marc
Morrison, "Return of the Mack". By that time they were so hot for each other
that they knew the night out was over for them. "Night everybody! See you
all at our house tomorrow for a barbecue." AJ called as he dragged Carrie,
laughing, off the floor. She waved as he snatched up her purse and pulled
her toward the door. Everybody waved back, then resumed dancing. "Jumpin,
jumpin" by Destiny's Child came on, and the girls all started singing
together.

"Ladies leave your men at home, the club is full of ballers and their pockets
full blown, and all you fellas leave your girl with her friends, Cuz it's
11:30 and the club is jumpin, jumpin" Kevin wrapped his arms around
Kristin, and Brian wrapped his around Leighanne. "Come on, ladies, time to
call it a night." they said, kissing them. Kristin and Leighanne giggled,
and said goodbye to Shannon, Amber, and Kristy. "Looks like girls night out
is over, huh?" Amber giggled as Howie began grinding his hips against hers,
and Nick started kissing Kristy. "Oh yeah, I think so." Shannon agreed,
laughing. "Definitely." Kristy agreed, breaking for air. They all laughed,
then said goodnight and headed out for home with their men.
