Chapter 3- Whatever Makes Me Happy

We all had a great time dancing.  The guys were awesome, very attentive, and
sweet. well, mostly.  We all had a couple of drinks, and had a dirty dancing
contest.  JC and Chris picked up a couple of girls from the dance club to
party with for the night, and we all laughed, talked, and danced until almost
four a.m.  The dirty dancing contest was the last thing we did, and that's
what ended the night.  When Joey started unbuttoning Ambers blouse right on
the dance floor, the club manager decided it was time for us to go.  Amber
pulled us aside and told us she was going back to the hotel with Joey.  "Just
be careful, sis." We told her, hugging her.  The two of them took off with
his bodyguard.

Carrie fidgeted for a minute, then said in a low voice, "I'm going with
Lance, Shan.  Will you be okay?"  I grinned ear to ear.  "Of course I will!
Go, have fun, make love with the Mississippi albino!" I teased softly.  She
grinned, relieved, and slugged me in the shoulder.  "That's not nice!  You
said you weren't going to call him that anymore!" she said, laughing.  I
giggled tipsily, and said, "I wont when I'm sober.  But I'm not.  Now get
going!"   She hugged me, then went over to Lance shyly.  He took her hand,
waved to me, and led her out, his bodyguard trailing behind.  JC and Chris
were already gone, having said goodbye to their ladies an hour earlier.
Justin walked over to me and smiled down at me.  "You are so beautiful when
you smile, Shannon.  I wish I could see it all the time, it makes me happy."
he said softly.  I blushed as he took my hand.  "Being with you makes me
happy, Justin." I admitted, then I blushed even deeper.  "I..I didn't mean to
say that out loud!" I gasped, looking away.  He sighed softly and turned my
chin so I was looking at him.

"Don't be afraid to speak your mind, Shannon. I like that about you.  I like
you, period.  Can I take you back to your hotel?" he asked quietly.  I smiled
shyly.  "Id like that, Justin." I whispered.  He waited while I grabbed my
purse, then he and his bodyguard escorted me back to the hotel.  The
bodyguard stayed downstairs while Justin came up to my room with me.  At the
door, he took the keycard from me and fiddled with it, not saying anything.
Finally I said gently, "Would you like to come in, Justin?"  He looked down
into my eyes and blushed.  "More than you'll ever know, Shannon." he admitted
in a low voice.  My heart swelled with love.  "Will you stay the rest of the
night?" I asked.  He looked at me silently for a minute, then pulled out his
cell phone.  "Ronnie, I'm stayin.  Bring me a bag in the morning, will you?
Thanks, man." he said, then he hung up and looked at me again.  "Shall we go
in?" he asked, opening the door.  I smiled up at him shyly.  "Lets." I said,
taking his hand and leading him into the room.
