Chapter 4- Sets You Free

The next day was heaven.  The guys took us to sound check, and even let us sit
in on an interview with them.  When the interviewer teased them about us
being their girlfriends, they just grinned.  We all ate lunch together, then
separated to get ready for the show that night.  It was just as incredible as
the night before, and the guys were hotter than ever.  When it was over, they
sent the bodyguards out to get us.  We went backstage with heavy hearts,
knowing that it was time to say goodbye.  We hugged and kissed JC and Chris,
who made us promise to stay in touch, and gave us their itinerary, including
hotels and cell phone numbers.  Then we went to our special men.  Joey and
Amber held each other tightly, then kissed and told each other to call.  Joey
got on the bus quickly so she wouldn't see him cry.  Lance was brushing
Carries tears away gently, and kissing her.  "Don't cry, sweetheart. I love
you." he said in his deepest, sweetest voice.  "I love you too, Lance." she
whispered.  They kissed, then he got on the bus, and Carrie went over to
Amber, who hugged her.

Justin took me in his arms.  "I'm going to call you all the time, Shannon.
You'll be so sick of me, you'll never want to see me again." he warned,
kissing me gently.  I tried to smile. "Naw, Ill never get sick of you.
You're too cute!" I teased lightly.  He chuckled, but it sounded more like he
was trying not to cry.  "Hey, Justin, we gotta get going!!  Kiss her and say
goodbye!" the driver yelled.  Justin shoved a paper into my hand, kissed me
hard, and bolted for the bus.  Amber and Carrie joined me as the bus pulled
away, and the tears began to pour from my eyes.  They hugged me as we all
waved until the bus was out of sight.  Then we went back to the hotel, but
none of us could sleep.  "What did the note say?" Amber asked from her bed as
we watched "House on Haunted Hill".  I smiled slightly.  "It was song lyrics
to "Ill Be Good For You." I told her.  We finally fell asleep.
