White Christmas Cookies
My family and I have a special desert that we make each year for our Christmas tradition. When I found this recipe, I started thinking that I should make these cookies for each Christmas. The following materials are required: a big mixing bowl with a blender, a spoon, a cookie sheet, cookie racks, an oven, and measuring tools. The following ingredients are: 1/2 cup of butter or margarine; 2/3 cup of granulated sugar; one teaspoon of vanilla; one egg; one cup plus 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour; 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda; one cup of flaked coconut; 6 ounce white chocolate chunks or chips, and powdered sugar.
First, put in the butter and sugar; beat it with the mixer until creamy. Also, put in the vanilla and egg while the mixer is going. Then, combine the flour and baking soda, and put the two ingredients in the butter mixture. Third, put the coconut and white chocolate chips or chunks into the mixture and it will form a dough in the bowl.
Fourth, shut the mixer off, and take out the cookie sheet. Take the spoon and scoop a little bit of the cookie dough and place it onto the cookie sheet. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Once the oven is ready, place the cookie sheet with the cookie dough on it into the oven and set the timer for 15 minutes.
You can tell if they are done by placing a toothpick in the middle of a cookie and see if the toothpick came out clean. Let the cookies cool for about two minutes before removing them onto the cookie racks. Then, sift the powdered sugar over the cookies until covered with a “blizzard of snow.”
Making White Christmas Cookies are great for the Christmas season. The white chocolate chips make them taste rich and are very moist and soft to eat.
