My name is ROLY WRIGHT..
Today, 19th. May I lost one of my two best friends, and my most constant companion, my Corgi, BRYN
BRYN was a Pembroke Corgi, like the ones owned by the British Royal family, (of which we are not members)and was a highly trained and tenacious ferret hunter, tunnel digger and accidental long distance swimmer. He died of an enlarged heart and I will miss him dreadfully. May he be romping in that great playground in the skyI have 4 children Well, hardly children now) , Regan, ( 29 ) and Bronwyn,(26) whom I love dearly, and are a mixed source of pride and worry. (Mostly pride though!) I am also very proud of my 2 older heirs, Peter and Kirsty! I live in the city of AUCKLAND,in New Zealand. Down the bottom end of the Pacific Ocean but well up from the South Pole. Auckland has a subtropical climate.
I am of mixed Australian, English, and Irish, stock but reasonably intelligent in spite of this!
I used to work on 'The Buck Stops Here' desk at Auckland International Airport where I was employed by AIR NEW ZEALAND for the past 32 years. Must have a streak of Masochism buried in me somewhere!
Sanity (to a degree) has finally prevailed and I have now become one of the glorious unemployed (RETIRED) Sloth really has got a lot going for it!
My hobby (and obsession!) is writing and arranging music for MIDI listening. As I have been a professional musician, and band leader for over 30 years I think I am qualified to do this!
All my work is written and arranged using a WAVE sound card.(Roland SCDB) and will only give a true sound if listened to thru similar equipment. If not it will sound 'ratshit! I make no apologies for the quality of most computer sound cards which can only handle synthesized sound! I endeavour to keeep changing the music on offer below, about once a week and post a "Dateline" update section also below.I really appreciate getting feedback from those of you who take the time to sample my wares,especially if you have any criticisms of my work, That can only help me! I specialise in custom writing MIDIS for inclusion on WEBSITES and HOMEPAGES for 'Openers' so do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance.
