12:30 PM, on the computer

Radio Shack is perfect.

I'm on my second day now, and I've worked 22 hours so far. Honestly, my manager had to ask me to leave just now... mostly because I was playing Tekken Tag on a co-worker's PS2 (SHWEEEEET!) until 11:30 ;

But seriously, I'm about to have my certifications in sales, wireless communications, customer service, and service warranties, which:
1) Looks nice on a resume
2) Means more money for me (I get a cerfification bonus)
3) I'll be the only employee in the store that's cerfified, the others were rushed to the sales floor

I made my first big sale today, a guy came in wanting an radio controlled car, and he ended up leaving with the car, three hand-held games, a jr electrician set, batteries for all, and a one-month trial for MSN. $70 sale (the MSN gave him $20 off his purchase), which means I get nine bucks commission, plus a $10 bonus for the MSN contract. In short, with the sales I made today I was making about $15 an hour.......

That didn't look right.

I was making about $15 an hour!!!!!

That's better.

The rush of working there is phenominal though... I can work 11 hours like it's nothing. It's a WHOLE lot easier than Fred's too, less physical work and a TON better pay.

Anyway, I'm in love with Rebecca St James (again). Her new CD is phenominal, and I've got a (obsession alert) full-size stand up of her in my room now. Now if I were only in my room long enough to look at it, it'd be great. This CD is amazing.

I can't think of anything else but work, but then I think about RSJ and get all giddy... my solution: take the CD to work tomorrow and BLAST THE WALLS OFF (we get to demo the sound system with our own music, tee hee)

There's a song on this CD called "Wait for Me", and the insert of the CD says that the song came from letters that she's written to her future husband that she plans to give to him. Just listening to the lyrics, I feel like the song is written for me... it's like a message from my wife saying "hey, I'm out there waiting for you too..." It's making me cry. Those who know me personally, you know why...
