8:51 PM, on the computer
I'm really bored right now. I mean really really bored. I've played a lot of video games, there's no one on the internet, and my sister's friend is here. Yeah, I know... I could go talk to her, but I can't. She's deaf, and I only know how to sign my name.
I just searched ICQ to see who was on random, but there's noone interesting on... *grumbles* I'm gonna go grab my Bible.
9:33 PM, on the computer
Well Praise the Lord, I just found an ICQ list that was backed up a few months ago, so I have some of the people on my list back.
But I'm still bored.
10:46 PM, on the computer
My friend Ben just dropped by and gave me a ticket for the Symphony tomorrow night. Cool. He's gone now, so back to being bored.
11:08 PM, still on the computer
I was making a glass of tea a minute ago, and I was watching my sister's friend (her name is Raina) watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the original movie). It really made me think, I wonder what it's like for her. What would she say if she could hear and speak clearly? I wonder what it's like being deaf... not being able to hear, not being able to speak fully, and always having so much to say but not being able to communicate unless you had a notepad or was around someone that knows American Sign Language. Man, the girl is honest to a fault though. She's blunt as all get out! She flat out told me that she thought my rockin' zebra shoes were dumb! Despite that one thing, she's a sweet girl though.
