12:56 AM, on the computer
I've had a lot of revelations lately concerning things from my past. The first is a real joy to me. King's X is a band I had listened to since I was 10 years old, and I would stay up until 2 AM watching the Headbanger's Ball on MTV (anyone remember that show?) just to see if any of their songs would come on. Well anyway ten years later I had found out that they were a Christian band the whole time. I was thinking "man... Praise God! This is like getting saved and finding out an old friend is a believer!" So I've gone onto EBay (some advice: EBay is a great place to find hard to find Christian CDs CHEAP... I won an auction for a Buck CD and paid 4 bucks with shipping) and I'm trying to find some of their CDs, because I'm going to collect them now.
The second revelation comes from an unexpected source. My love for redheads has been both a blessing and a curse at times, but this time it has proven to be a blessing. I have an alternate e-mail account which I use to keep the nuts from my home account, and I had gotten it from a webpage that it was based from. The page was from a lady I had found from the Realm of Redheads a year ago and that I had loved because of the humor, but found the content objectionable. Anyway the e-mail has been acting up lately and I went to her site to see if there was anything I could do through there. I saw a link that says "guess who's pregnant?" and I followed it because of curiosity. I read a story about the webmistress that basically said she was pregnant and ended up giving her life to Christ because of the child. It was such an amazing story that it almost brought tears to my eyes, but I did e-mail her to tell her how much her story moved me, and I hope she'll respond. Man, Praise the Lord though! He's so amazing and He touches people's lives more today than I've ever heard about!
Well I had a weird day at work, but I'll have to write about it later, I'm a little tired and I have to be up in six hours to go to work. So God Bless all who read this, and g'night!
