12:05 PM, on the computer

Well today is my big day. I'm pretty nervous, and I'm kinda shaking. I've never had a job interview today, but mom explained to me that more is better. I'm going to make a copy of my school schedule to give to them and I've decided to wear my Jet-black suit and my new Obi-Wan tie. I figured slick yet humorous would get a job at Spencer's. *shrugs* It'll be hard working in a place that sells Edible panties and South Park toys, but there's a lot of people that pass through there, and when I'm just an average Joe it depresses me but when everyone's suddenly wanting something from me it makes it all the more exhiliarating. I'm hungry, and I need to iron my dress shirt, so I'll write later.

11:57 PM, on the comp

Today was groovy man... just groovy. My interview was at 4:30 and I left around 4, but I was nervous as all get out... so I stopped at Molly's and talked to her Mom (I love Mrs G, she's a trip) and talked to Molly (matter of fact, I loved Molly's reaction to my suit), then left for my interview.

My interview, for lack of a better phrase, was 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration (quoted from Edison). It was 10 minutes of interviewing and 30 minutes of chit-chat. I have no idea why I got so worked up, it had fun that the lady was nice to talk to. She was only 5 years older too, so she kept referring to people around our ages and I as "our group" and that made me feel more comfortable. I made a good impression with the guy yesterday, and I seem to have done well today, so I can only hope that I got the job... I don't want to say I've gotten it, cause I know God's gonna whack me in the head if I say anything. After the interview I went to the arcade and played House of the Dead 2. After a while I got a large following of people watching me, maybe because of my skills (I'll just say it, I'm good at the game) or maybe because a guy in a jet-black suit wearing sunglasses and blowing away zombies must have looked darn cool. I looked at the time, and it was around 5:45 so I gave my last tokens to a kid that watched me the whole time, who looked at me like I was some sort of Mod-God or something. I couldn't help but walk through the mall with a cool gait and my hands in my pockets.

Dad had a brilliant idea... let the dog out without a leash while the dog that lives a block away was in heat. Yeeeah great idea, that dog was halfway into the next yard by the time I was able to get out the door. Oh well I'll just leave him out there, it's 95 degrees without the humidity factor.

Back on the net, I started digging around for stuff on Zelda Gaiden, which is the newest in the Zelda series that debuted at a game show in Japan, when I came around an article about the history of Spider-man games, and I happened to find the ultra-catchy theme song... Spider-man, Spider-man, does the things that a spider can...

April thinks I'm giving her the silent treatment. I'm not, it's just that recently, I've had a hard time talking to her out of fear of what she'll say back. I know she'll read this, and I hope it explains it to her... cause I can't muster up the courage to say anything back but a meager one to two word reply. On the net girl subject I talked to Lori for around an hour, and I'm still talking to her. She's such a sweet girl, but a bit to hard on herself. Is this how Molly sees me?

Oh neato, there's another dog outside, a lovely golden retriever and he seems to be in good shape and good temper, so I'm gonna go see if he's friendly or not. Ciao!
