12:38 PM, on the computer
I think I may have just stuck my foot in my mouth. I was just talking to an ex, and she asked for some advice. I told her sure, and she said "I think I've fallen in love with someone.. but.. I've mistreated him in the past, he's mistreated me, but in the end... we've always ended up together... what can I say to him to just make him forget everything?"
My reply was: "Well, my advice is to not even get into a relationship unless you think it's someone you can actually spend the rest of your life with, and if you think about getting into one, sit down and seriously ponder it... and if the guy has issues you can't take, don't stick with him to try and change him... you can't. It's impossible. Take a look at the common causes for divorces... the majority of them are from women that thought their husbands would change when they married them."
She said "thanks, bye" then left. It suddenly dawned on me that she was probably talking about me. I feel bad for saying that now, but it was really something she probably needed to hear. She doesn't need long distance relationship anyway, let alone with me. I'm not wanting a long distance relationship right now anyway, because I have a girl here that I may be able to date if I want, and then there's Meredith...

I was wrong, she wasn't talking about me. With the guy she described though, I kinda wish she was...
