Life is good. I've got the new MxPx CD in the CD player, the rerelease of POD's Brown waiting to be listened to, and I couldn't be feeling better. Yeah, the devil's been up to his usual tricks, but I just consider it to be even more of a blessing cause it means I'm doing something right.

Me likes MxPx.

My day actually started early for a change. I woke up at 8 (??!??) and went to get my haircut, then went to Hancock Fabrics to put in an application. All I had to do is mention I'm a friend of the VP's family and go to church with them, and I've got a job starting at $8.25 an hour, loose dress code, sick pay, insurance and a raise in 90 days (and every 90 after that until I top out), and a definite 40 hour week with Saturdays and Sundays off. I like my new boss too, and he said he'll just call me when he's ready for me to start because he's got too many temps right now. I should be starting in a week or two and he'll let me have time to give a good notice for Fred's (which I plan on working out to leave on good terms). The only thing I'm worried about is having to go into work at 7 every blasted weekday (I have trouble waking up before 10, let alone 6...) but we get off at 4 and if we work until 5 we get overtime! The conditions aren't that bad, the work is reasonable, and I get to hang around with some pretty good people and I'm sure the Lord will provide me with plenty of opportunities to witness and share Him with other people. I'm going to be working hard, yeah, but I can take it cause I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.

Work today at Fred's wasn't too bad, even though I'm starting to suffer from mild fatigue from stress and lack of sleep. A little less video game time and having a set work schedule would be helpful to me. The devil's just trying to get to me, but God's going to work it out for good, and I've already figured out how. Satan's trying to make me tired to affect work performance but God's using it to train me to wake up and go to bed earlier, which is what's going to happen, praise His name.

Speaking of going to bed, I'm going to upload this and get a little Bible reading and prayer time in before hitting the hay. To everyone that I talk to online, sorry I'm not on and I hope to see you later! Grace and peace and all that good stuff, and God Bless!

Okay okay I know I said I'd go to bed... but I just HAD to listen to that POD CD and OH MY LORD this CD ROCKS!
