Better Pictures of the Guitars
When I don't have to play the 12-string, I (Big Taylor) play the guitar on the right, in standard tuning, except for one song in dropped "D". I mostly don't play with a slide, but when I do it's a metal pinky slide. When Lee Roy doesn't have to play the 12-string (We both hate them!) he plays the guitar on the left. He mostly plays slide in standard tuning, but when he does change tunings they are absolutely non-standard and uncategorized tunings, i.e., not open "A", "D" "G" , "E" or any of those other letters of the alphabet. Wierd tunings, I'm telling you. Lee Roy uses a deep socket spark plug wrench for his pinky slide.
Clicking on either guitar will take you to Gibson's Dobro pages. Although our instruments are of older Dobro, or OMI manufacture, the new Dobros manufactured by Gibson are just fine too!
