11th Kentucky "Chenault's Cavalry, CSA

This company was recruited in Madison County and there are no known rolls of it in existance. It was a large company. The following list of it's officers and a few of it's men was gathered from several sources. Many of the men are not listed in this roster.

Capt. Robert B. Terril, severly wounded at Mt. Sterling, KY., March 21, 1863

1st Lt. G.W. Ranson, supposed to have been killed at the battle of Mission Ridge (?).

2nd Lt. G.W. Maupin

2nd Lt. Seth Maupin, severly wounded at Mt. Sterling, KY., March 21, 1863.

Enlisted Men

Ive Adair, died in Camp Douglas, Nov. 4, 1863, measles

Anderson Chenault, escaped from Camp Douglas, recaptured, and tried by Gen. Burbridge as a spy, but acquitted.

Cabell Chenault, died at Monticello, Ky., 1862

David Chenault, escaped from Camp Douglas, but recaptured.

Robert Chenault

T.J. Fimore, died at Camp Douglas, Jan 2, 1865, smallpox.

Wm. Huse, died in Camp Douglas, Oct 20, 1863, measles.

George McDaniel, died in Camp Douglas, Oct. 7, 1863, measles.

George Vaughn, died in Camp Douglas, Nov 20, 1863, smallpox.
