This company was recruited in Bourbon County. There is only one known roll in existance, covering the period from Sep., 10, 1862 to Dec 31, 1862, and it is supposed to be very incomplete. (50 officers and enlisted men listed)

2nd Serg. Charles R. Shawhan   (1843-1865), was born in Harrison Co., Kentucky and is buried at Battle Grove cemetery in Cynthiana, Ky. He is reported to be the son of John L. Shawhan (1808-1868) and Elizabeth "Betsey" ( nee: Redmon) Shawhan (1819-1906). They are buried at Battle Grove cemetery, Cythiana, Harrison Co., Kentucky. Information from Larry C.
