WALDO WEATHERS |
Quoting Waldo, "I've always been concerned with making music that's real, music that makes people move and dance and most of all music that makes people feel good." And that is exactly what he does... MAKE PEOPLE FEEL GOOD! Waldo began playing in a soul band called 'The Night Lighters' (later called 'New Birth'), at the age of twelve in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Then in 1982, Waldo began working in the country music industry, playing with mega-stars like Charley Pride and Johnny Taylor. From there he cut his first country single--- "She Believes in Me," written by Steve Gibb. In 1995, Waldo went on and recorded a live album at The Apollo with the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Waldo is an Artist in FULL BLOOM! When playing the sax, Waldo's interpretation of any song--- from country to funk, turns into a steamy love affair. |
