When the Nashville sax player isn't gigging around Music City or in Europe, he's working with the Hardest Working Man in Show Business - yep, Weathers is a member of James Brown's backing band. That was Weathers who stepped up to the spotlight at Brown's Ryman show in March, during the song Get Up (I feel like a) Sex Machine.
Weathers' Sutler gig is presented by the Tennessee Jazz and Blues Society.
