the idea is i'm not like you

i'm not one of your droids, your little mechanical toys

even if it means being alone, i will not conform

the idea is you're not like me

your simple minds and simplistic pleasures - you will never understand

the idea is you cannot change

whereas i am just refusing

i refuse to be like you

you can never be like me

the idea is i'm not like you, maybe i should never be
